Camp Earndog is currently celebrating its 20th year. The early years were a travel trailer and tents. The cabin construction began in the spring of 2015. This is our family retreat. It's our intent to share our cabin home with those who enthusiastically appreciate what a true cabin in the woods experience really is. It has been created over the years through the help of several individuals who used their talent, skills and hard work to create what it is today. It is something that we are all proud of.

         Birds and wildlife abound for quiet observation everywhere, (no hunting).  And, don’t forget blackberry picking season, spring flowers, and the fall foliage. Also during the summer months the firefly season is often something to behold. Life’s simple pleasures are often missed in today's hectic world. Find nature's beautiful experiences as they exist at Camp Earndog... and remember to “Take a Walk in the Woods”.​       

 

       Camp Earndog is only minutes away from Boone North Carolina and Mountain City Tennessee. Damascus Virginia with its bicycling trails and outfitters is only 25 miles away. The Appalachian Trail access is also near Damascus. Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are easy drives from the cabin where plenty of fine and casual dining is available.
